FORMATION OF SUBJECT COMPETENCIES IN THE STUDY OF GENERAL ENGINEERING DISCIPLINES
Abstract
The represented article is directed on creation of optimum integration conditions of disciplines that teachers of department of General Engineering Training of the Kherson State Maritime Academy put in disciplines of professional directions by specialties: navigation, operation of ship power plants and operation of ship electric and automatic equipment.
The ways of implementation of close intersubjective communications between general engineering disciplines such as theoretical mechanics, descriptive geometry and engineering graphics, applied mechanics, technical mechanics, theoretical and applied mechanics were considered in the article.
The vessel crew should have knowledge in branch of mechanics for successful operation of difficult mechanical systems.
Authors mark out aspects of integration of general engineering disciplines with professional which are studied on the next courses. The competences that are formed during study of general engineering disciplines that are thought at department and ways of their realization were described in the article.
Examples of the organization of lectures and laboratory works using intersubjective communications with special subject of the professional direction are given. he laboratory equipment created by teachers for researches of applied and technical mechanics was shown and specific examples of intersubjective communications of special disciplines with theoretical and applied mechanics, descriptive geometry and an engineering graphics were given.
