Abstract

This article deals with the control and diagnostic system parameters of the ship internal combustion engine dynamic characteristics, evidence from two – stroke 6 – cylinders ICE type WARTSILA-SULCER 6 RT-flex 50b. The influence of the guaranteed and pilot limits value on the monitoring system decision acceptance about the control action given to the plant lag (ICE) is exemplified by measuring curves changing of ICE exhaust gas temperature in accordance with external environment conditions changes. The analytical method was used to illustrate the impact of the first and second stage errors on the automatic monitoring and regulating system, in accordance with changes of external environmental conditions. The authors have proved the importance of calculation and researches of the suppositions mentioned above, as well as measurement patters value during modeling and choosing criteria for ships ICE working parameters control and monitoring system working estimation.
